We Should Still Be Ashamed
A powerful image based on the “Bristol Fashion” specifications for ship’s carrying the maximum amount possible of Enslaved people. This image was re-drawn from an original naval diagram. Showing the brutality and the cold-efficiency of the thought that went into the slave trade. Reminiscent also of the nazi planning of the Holocaust.
The image is entitled “We Should Still Be Ashamed” as an acknowledgement that we still have a long way to go to overcome the horrors of our history.
50cmx50cm linen with cut print hand applied. Can be supplied as is or framed at special request.
