The Sea at Night
The Sea at Night is a watercolour on paper with Indian inks made onboard a sailboat in the Thames Estuary one evening in June 2011. It is a piece made from direct observation of the sea as distant lights play and trip across warm summer waves.
I hope this piece feels calming and mysterious to the view, taking them there with me as the faint sounds of the wind and rigging tell a story of the sea and of imagination.
Print: High Quality Glicée print, 300x400mm on (Quater Imperial) 200gsm rough rag handmade paper with deckled edges.
