Brecon Bound

Brecon Bound

A poem about the wonderful MonBrec (Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal) types on location from a bridge in Llangynidr.  This will be a part of an upcoming collection to be published later in 2022.

From old stone bridge,
the canal moves slowly.
Boats gentle in their slumber onwards.
Brecon bound boats.
From towpath walkers walk,
dogs walk, dogs bounce.
Centuries past, water.
under the old stone bridge.
Canal moves slowly.
Water drifts, time drifts,
onwards, gently.

Tony Malone, July 2022.
