Daljit is a scout leader, a compassionate wonderful person whom has spent decades volunteering in the UK and across the world helping others through scouting. He’s a friend whom I never fail to feel happy after talking too. His portrait, conducted over the internet because of the pandemic from a photograph captures his sensitivity and thoughtfulness -although not perhaps his mischievous sense of humour.  The multiple neckerchief add that send of how many roles and responsibilities Daljit takes on to support, educate and empower others in his volunteering. Working on woodland art, with the Scouts

Woodland art. One of my favourite interactive workshops that allows a group of people of all ages come together, working towards making something impactful, beautiful, fun and inspiring in the woods. The images in this project are some of these woodland vortexes I've created working with Scouts from the UK and the Netherlands. On one weekend hammock camp we even created a small art gallery of images strung between trees. The art of peaceful protests

2018 - Ongoing A series of workshops in person and online to look at the art of Placards and Peaceful protesting. It's aim is to allow Young People and Adults to establish a sense of empowerment to change the world and discuss complex issues peacefully through visual arts as the initiator of dialogue. These sessions have been run for organisations and galleries across the UK, including LV21 Lightship Arts Centre, The Scouts and also with various Schools and Youth Groups across the UK. In some cases they have become activism projects which have made a positive difference in their own communities....
